Especially with Goya involved! This year, Goya traveled to San Francisco for the annual Carnaval Parade and Festival over Memorial Day Weekend to honor the various Latin American cultures that have made their way into California. From Brazil to Mexico and every country in between, all were represented in the colorful spread of festivities and food including Goya. Now, pair that with our Brand Ambassadors vibrant smiles and vivacious personalities, and you’ve really got yourself a carnaval!
With nearly 50% of San Francisco’s population being Anglo-American, this event allowed us the opportunity to bring the whole of Latin America to the United States via a booth collaboration with famed flour brand, Harina-Pan. Carnaval-goers were able to sample delectable arepas from South America made with Harina-Pan before grabbing delicious, cold cans of Goya’s aguas like Mango, Coco, and Guanabana, to name a few. As always, we also had prize giveaways at both booths including a generous basket filled with Goya goodies, all inspired by the flavors of Latin America.
